Description

As Shizuko: Before you is a teenaged girl, well entrenched in high school and all the drama found therein. Despite a pretty appearance, she seems to be a bit shy, and rarely, if ever, opening her mouth in a smile. Her black hair is mostly pulled back into a high ponytail, itself held into place by a band with a red tartan patterned bow on it to the right side. As for her clothing, she's wearing a black short sleeved blouse under a red vest that vaguely resembles a corset, though isn't actually remotely that tight. A bow of the same pattern as that in her hair is fastened at her collar. While her blouse is short sleeved, her arms are not bare: Instead, her arms are adorned with separate sleeves of the same material, but are clearly not attached, leaving a band of bare skin on her upper arms and frills at her wrists. Below, she wears a double ruffled short skirt, each layer the same tartan pattern as the bows, but each ending in a black lace frill. For shoes, she wears very long boots that reach a third of the way up her thigh. They match in color to her blouse, and are laced all the way up to the top in front with laces matching the color of her vest. They have inch and a half long heels on them, though they're quite thick.

Super Magical Ultimate Strike Star

As Strike Star: Behold! The magical girl! This teenager is outfitted in white, gold, and black in an outfit that doesn't look as utilitarian as it should be, considering she's more likely than not in a combat situation. Her outfit is, at its base, a white minidress dress in a very low sweetheart cut combined with a black halter top, the skirt of which is pleated like a school skirt. The pleated skirt is accompanied by a wide, white bow across her back that has additional golden armor plating on its trailing edges and at the very tips. Across her chest is also thicker gold ornamentation that acts much like a low cut bikini top with additional armoring in the center just above and below. The gold trim also frames the top of her chest, framing her assets nicely while reaching up to her collarbone in a V shape, and with a trimmed red gem in the center. Her boots, too, are mostly black and white with gold trim: They reach nearly all the way up to her short skirt with a black band at top that dips in the front to nearly her knees. At her feet the boots are much thicker, all gold in what looks akin to a set of golden high heels, except in the front they climb up just past her ankles. Her arms are not bare, either. A set of white sleeves reach from her wrists only up to halfway up her upper arms. At the top is what looks like a cuff with black trim, then at her elbows the white material puffs out. A red gem matching the one on her chest adorns each of these sleeves just above her elbow, and across the back of her forearms is a set of golden bracers. Finally, a golden winged motif hairpiece holds back her ponytail, itself reaching nearly to the top of her skirt. Truly a lovely vision! This isn't everything, though. Perhaps they're floating around her, or perhaps they're attached to her, but there are eight floating devices that are always near her. The two that look attached to her arms when not in use look like a thick spike with flanking wings all set into a golden housing, the wings folded in when still on her arms. The other six are on her skirt when not in rest, and appear much simpler, each being a flattened oval shape with a golden ring about three-fourths the way back (or up when on her skirt).

Background

Born in Synthatek, Shizuko's mother, a native of Center City, had told her tales of Magical Girls when she was a child. Such things were, of course, forbidden in Synthatek... As are all things magical in nature. But young Shizuko lapped all of it up! She so wished to become one herself! One day a six year old Shizuko got lost in the city, only to come across what looked, to her eyes, like a real life magical girl! Shizuko gushed over this supposed magical girl, even going so far as to talk about how she wanted to be one even though talk of things like magic was a huge taboo... but the young child didn't care. The 'magical girl' was kind enough to help guide Shizuko back to an area she recognized.

Much later, her mother and father divorced, and Shizuko was about to move away to Center City with her mother... a prospect that absolutely terrified her. She ran away from home, and of course got lost, scared, and in trouble... only to run into that same 'Magical Girl' she had run into as a young child. The 'Magical Girl' announced that Shizuko now had access though her cranial implants to her own special 'magical' powers... in reality it's all equipment that would be transported onto her, all 100% technological in nature. By now, of course, Shizuko had grown out of that phase, but she was far too polite to decline such a gracious gift. She tested out these new 'powers' by flying up to get her bearings and make her own way home.

Now in Center City, Shizuko is truly getting the hang of her new abilities.
